Nokia launches a User Experience Portal
7 May, 2008
“To provide developers with guidance, best practices, and tools that enable efficient application development and optimized user experience, Forum Nokia has created a new user experience portal. Topics covered on the portal include quality, usability and user experience, power management, testing and signing, and porting. Developers who study and apply this information can gain a competitive edge and produce the next generation of outstanding mobile applications.”
They also note: “In a highly competitive market, a positive user experience is THE key differentiator for successful products.”
A great step in the right direction, but kinda concerning that their Tip of the Day is “User should be able to skip completed levels”. I look forward to seeing this section develop.
